Haydens New Car
TORONTO, Aug. 9, 2002 Hayden Christensen, the young Canadian actor who starred in the recently released movies Star Wars Episode II, and Life as a House, as well as the West End play "This Is Our Youth" in London, England, and who is also currently filming a new picture in Montreal, chose the new 2003 S-TYPE R as his new ride.
The new 2003 S-TYPE range is lead by the all-new 400bhp supercharged S-TYPE R model - the most powerful production car ever to be produced by the Coventry, UK, manufacturer - priced at $89,950.
Christensen took delivery of his new S-TYPE R at Budds' Imported Cars in Oakville, Ontario, where owner and dealer principal, Terry Budd, handed over the keys personally.
"It's exciting for us to have such a young, well-known star like Hayden driving the S-TYPE R," said Budd. "This shows that our cars are appealing to a broader spectrum of customers. It's a real pleasure to have Hayden as a Jaguar owner."
The new 2003 Model Year S-TYPE sedan range retains its highly distinctive, stylish and admired exterior design while a thorough engineering program results in approximately 70 per cent new content in the car, including a redesigned interior, revised suspension, and first-in-class available 6-speed automatic transmission. The result is a new S-TYPE lineup that provides more of what premium sedan buyers want: more luxury, more safety, more refinement, and more performance.
